Happy New Year!

January is National Soup Month. Soup is a great cold-weather option, but many are surprisingly high in carbs. Fortunately, there are plenty of delicious, nourishing low-carb soups to choose from as well. I found five hearty leto-friendly creations from some of my favorite low-carb culinary wizards. Enjoy!

Low-Carb Tex Mex Soup from Martina at KetoDiet
(6.4 grams net carb per serving)

Keto Broccoli Cheese Soup from Meghan and Matt at Keto Connect
(4 grams net carb per serving)

Chili Relleno Chicken Soup from Carolyn at All Day I Dream About Food
(4 grams net carb per serving)

Crockpot Mexican Chicken Soup from Lisa at Low Carb Yum
(5 grams net carb per serving)

Creamy Reuben Soup from Kyndra at Peace, Love & Low Carb
(4 grams net carb per serving)

I found the video by Dr. Saslow very interesting. The knock on keto diets has been that it's hard to stay on them. Dr. Saslow's results show that with proper psychological support, it's actually easier to stay on keto. It's very interesting that her PHD is in psych not in nutrition. Perhaps this is the missing piece that will allow keto-LCHF to go more mainstream, and help blunt the diabetes epidemic.

Thank you for the link, I'm looking forward to reading your articles too!

Thanks so much for your comments and feedback, Tim! I share your views about Dr. Saslow's study and your hope that this will help advance LCHF acceptance among the diabetes community.

Thanks for the nice and timely article. With below freezing temps hitting the southeastern coastline, soup will be on the menu.
