I wanted to let any interested readers know that my article for the ADA’s Diabetes Spectrum is now viewable by all on their website. Two points to keep in mind:
While I did have to make some concessions, I’m still very encouraged that the Spectrum editors asked me to write an article favorable to carbohydrate restriction. Slowly but surely, we are making progress! Thanks so much, Terry! Really enjoy hearing from all of my readers with diabetes, types 1 and 2. You're correct that the ADA made sure the article was very balanced; I had to take out several sentences I really liked (maybe I'll publish them here one day). My next article for the IDF's Diabetes Voice on low-carb for T1 is an opinion piece, which I think you'll like better. I certainly do :)

Thank you, Nan! I'm hoping the CDE dietitians, nurse practitioners, and doctors who read the Spectrum will consider making similar recommendations to their patients.
