November is National Georgia Pecan Month. While it's true that pecans are grown mainly in Georgia and other parts of the southern US, they're enjoyed by everyone. Pecans are one of my favorite nuts -- I just love their delicate, slightly sweet flavor. I hope you enjoy the five fantastic low-carb pecan recipes I selected for this month's food holiday.

Jackie Ebertstein, RN: "The Road to Type 2 Diabetes and How Low Carb Can Prevent It"
July 2017 KetoFest
November is National Diabetes Month, and I can't think of a better presentation on the subject than this one given by my friend and colleague, Jackie Eberstein. Jackie is an registered nurse who worked closely with Dr. Robert Atkins in his private practice for nearly 30 years. During that time, they treated thousands of people with diabetes and prediabetes using a low-carb diet. In this excellent presentation, Jackie discusses the six-stage progression from insulin resistance to advanced diabetes and how carb restriction can halt and often reverse this process. She also shares her own story about how low-carb changed her life and has helped her stay healthy and vibrant for over 40 years.
